Well after 4 months of upgrades, we have just about completed all of of the upgrades and are finalizing the allocation of more resources to all of the servers. To further improve the operating performance of your server environment before allocating the additional resources, we will be performing network maintenance on Friday, March 21, 2008 . We will be preforming maintenance on your server, Sunday, February 3rd, 2007 beginning at 1:00 AM EST. This maintenance will upgrade you to a new Sun Blade server and improve stability. The upgrade cannot be performed on- line and will require an estimated 4 hours of downtime. We do not anticipate any problems but wanted to make you aware of the maintenance times. Thanks so much! In Christ, Lance Odeneal 10.17.2007 Hi Everyone! :) We have exciting news at ChristianWebHost. In the next couple of weeks, we will be upgrading the network and servers at ChristianWebHost to much larger and faster configurations. We are currently running Dual Core processors, but after the upgrade all servers will be running on the latest Quad Core technology. You should notice a faster load time for your site, almost no downtime, and a better performance all the way around. Unfortunately, during the upgrade there will be some downtime. However, once it is completed, future upgrades will be very fast and problems due to load spikes should be a thing of the past so your sites should load much faster. Our plan is for the upgrade to be all at once on Friday night, October 26th starting at 11:00pm Eastern time. We will be completed by 9:00 am the next morning of October 27th. In order to do this with the least amount of problems, we will be doing everything during this 10 hour time frame. Most servers will be inaccessible for only 4 to 6 hours. Some, however, may be inaccessible during the length of the upgrade. We will know more as the upgrade begins. We will have http://christianwebhost.info up and running to keep you updated as we go. We will update this page through out the night. We are very excited about the increase in server and network performance this will give everyone once it is complete.
